It’s always a sign that the new football season is well and truly underway when the Champions League matches begin. And what a cracker we have here in this clash between two giants of European football.

It will come as no surprise when we say that there are two players that all UK punters will have their eyes on: Harry Kane for Bayern Munich and Cole Palmer for Chelsea.

Chelsea and Bayern Munich are both available at odds of 13.0 to go on and win the Champions League title. And to be perfectly honest, we are surprised that Bayern are available at that price. We thought they would be much shorter, so there is definitely value to be had by backing them at this stage of the competition.
If Chelsea lose this match, as we expect they will, we may consider backing them with small stakes to win the competition if the odds drift significantly, as this kind of bet often represents great value.
